I'm writing and I can't really think of what to call a cat robot thing. It looks and functions just like a cat, but it's not a cat, it's a robot. The word that comes to mind is android, but the official definition of android is: an automaton in the form of a human being. Note the part about in the form of a human being.
Would it still be an android, or is there another word?Would an android that is an animal still be called an android?
No, but it would be considered humanoid.
