I just got an Android phone, but I'm having a problem. Even after I close them, apps start up again even though some I never even use. I don't want tons of unused apps running all the time consuming battery life. I don't see anywhere where you can control what apps can start up automatically. Is there a way to do this?How do I control what apps start up on my Android?
While my thought is you should remove any apps that are taking alot of juice from the device you can install a task manager from the Android Market that will allow you to kill apps that are running in the background. Since Froyo you really don't need them at all but search for "Task Manager" or "Task Killer" in the market and you will find a few options there.How do I control what apps start up on my Android?
