There are lots of different Android phones so it is probably not going to be a good comparison (lots of phones vs one phone).



Some Android phones are on a par with, or arguably better than, the latest iPhone but many are not.



Some Android phones worth considering, Samsung Galaxy S2 (or Galaxy S3 when it is launched in the coming months), Motorola RAZR, Sony Xperia S.



The iPhone is probably easier to use - but Android doesn't exactly require a PhD to operate. Android is more customisable as well. Regarding apps, the App Store may have more apps but all of the useful and necessary apps are available on both. The iPhone 4S has Siri which is not available on Android or any other iPhone.



You should probably do a search for the iPhone vs a particular Android phone to get a better idea.

I have a iphone and my boyfriend had a android (samsung) i love my iphone and would never get another phone.. Bt most of the apps i have to pay for (usually not expencive) my boyfriend can get for free.. But there isnt as much choice on the android market as on the iphone apps.



So i would say iphone..

~same price, better support, better software, worlds better touch screen, better battery life, better reception, plus with sprint you can still get unlimited data



Cons:

Right now, I would say android because they are 4G.

But android gets viruses alot more then iPhones.

I think when the iPhone 5 comes out, it will be 4G, and it will be better than android.

iPhones are way more "durable" than android.



I have an iphone, but i use to have and android, and at first I missed android alot. But eventually I got use to my iPhone. I can't wait till it's 4G.

Since the samsung galaxy s2 came out, it has proved that an android can be just as equally good or better than the iphone 4, or 4s. If you want an android that does justice in comparison to the iphone, it is the samsung galaxy s2 without a doubt. Not sure if any other androids have proven to be better or even, as good. Even Blackberry with their new bold 9900, we're not so sure of. Samsung Galaxy is certainly the top android competitor.

An android by far because you can load flash. Also you can tether wifi, it has better apps. More cellphones come out on android and better overall by FAR.
