Cyanogenmod is a ROM which adds extra features in your phone like graphics or sound quality is more better but it is only for the routed phones where as original android gives you the ordinary features.What is the difference between a CyanogenMod Android and the original Android?

It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors of these cell phones." In short, it is a modified version of the version of android that comes default with your phone. Based on the Android Open Source Project, CyanogenMod is designed to increase performance and reliability over Android-based ROMs released by vendors and carriers such as Google, T-Mobile, HTC, etc. CyanogenMod also offers a variety of features %26amp; enhancements that are not currently found in these versions of Android.
